  • "Steve and his team went above and beyond on my case. Steve worked hard on my case to prove my innocence. He cares about his clients and not just about the money. I would recommend Steve and his firm to anyone looking for a criminal defense attorney."

    —D.B.

  • "I was falsely accused of Driving Under the Influence with Reckless Endangerment of my young son in the car. I was in jeopardy of losing custody of my only child. Thanks to Tim, this tragedy was avoided. .... He used his experience to 'splain the truth to the jury. With just the right balance of charm, mild indignation, logic, truth telling, humor, personal anecdotes, relationship building, ...and so much more, Tim achieved success for me. He's worth every penny. ....".

Why (us)

Board certified

We are the only criminal defense firm in the state with two Board Certified Criminal Trial Attorneys. They earned their speciality certification from the National Board of Trial Advocacy, a PA Supreme Court approved agency.

The #1 Pick

We are the #1 pick of criminal defense firms for our local service area (in 2025). More people hire us than anyone else. Due to how many cases we deal with, we know how things work. Ask around. People know who we are.

Prep before court

We meet with clients before court. Not at court or in court. Not in the hallways just before court. We meet before the day of court. For each court event, we have a consultation, to help us prepare.

Go anywhere tech

We are powered by world class cloud technology. We are not tied down to a physical location. We can help you from wherever we are. Because we can carry our office and all our tools with us wherever we go, in our iPads.

Why (not some of them)?

The bait and switch ploy

The website of one competitor says they have a client satisfaction guarantee. They say if you don’t win, you don’t pay. They say these things on every page of their website. What they don’t say on every page is these promises apply to personal injury cases and never to criminal defense cases. You have to click around and read carefully to figure that out.

The scare-and-save ploy

The website of another competitor all but says that other lawyers stink and that the world is going to end unless you hire them. Then you have a chance. But they can’t back it up with anything but blather. The person at the helm barely takes cases any more. He has mostly young lawyers working for him who do not resemble the seasoned, fierce warriors he portrays online.

The content shuffle ploy

A lot of websites of criminal defense firms are full of slop. Could you come up with the same kind of content on your own using an AI chatbot? Is that what they did? Is the content written for you or to game the search engines? Is it done by a lawyer or an internet marketing agency, a master of shuffling content for different crimes, locations, and service areas? Is it hard to tell the difference?

None of that

Why is this happening? We are living in the era of the Wild West when it comes to law firm advertising. It’s pretty much anything goes. Just because a lawyer’s website says it does not make it true. If a lawyer can’t prove it, be skeptical. Even if we are that law firm. We think you will find that we don’t say things we can’t prove. We talk straight. We write our own words. If you think we are full of it, call us out.

  • Yes, but just about every lawyer we can think still goes to court with paper files. We go to court with iPads.

  • No, not as a rule. Most lawyers we know we like and respect.

But a couple firms have questionable marketing tactics.

And more than a few have sloppy website content.

It’s so bad out there you would arguably be better off going to ChatGPT for information in most cases.

  • We have to be careful when it comes to pricing because every case is different. But we understand that it helps to have some sense of what all of this is going to cost, at a minimum. Please understand that the prices can vary, a lot, depending on the case. The prices here are not the maximum.

Check out the numbers above to see if they are in the ballpark of what you can afford. If they are, book a free consultation to get a more specific quote. That is part of the idea.
